The Content Manager is primarily responsible for research and project management to shape new Deloitte publications. This will require organizing the project calendar, liaising with stakeholders, conducting interviews and performing secondary research.
This role reports to the Senior Manager from the Center for Integrated Research, with frequent interaction with leadership, marketing team, alliance and academic partner teams, and other leaders across the firm.
Role specific responsibilities may include:
Manage the overall project calendar across multiple papers and publications
Conduct primary and secondary research
Analyze data to extract key insights
Shape interview questions and conduct interviews
Synthesize findings into clear narratives covering multiple industries
Concurrently deliver on portions of multiple projects in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment
Support and execute large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and help coordinate strategic discussions with senior leaders
Develop and share content for presentations and reports, as well as supporting analytics, for senior leaders
Drive consensus with stakeholders on project deliverables
Develop effective working relationships with internal clients, colleagues across functions such as marketing and external collaborators
Maintain team's online repositories and network lists, and respond to related requests for information
Work with peers and counterparts in other parts of the Deloitte Global and US network
Work with key internal stakeholder groups to develop cross-functional relationships and tailored narratives
Be responsive to requests of senior Leaders across businesses, geographies, and industries
Qualifications
Required:
Undergraduate degree with analytical, business, or communications focus. Graduate degree a plus
Excellent analytical skills and comfort engaging support from data scientists
Resourceful problem solver: ability to research and find information within and outside Deloitte to validate findings, and contribute intellectually to deliverables
Strong initiative and entrepreneurial approach
Strategic and critical thinking skills to synthesize important insights and communicate them succinctly
Outstanding attention to detail
Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required; desire and aptitude to learn other software tools used by the team, when needed
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and convey key insights from analyses in research articles, presentations and emails to senior team members
High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment with the ability to work well under pressure, manage time and shifting priorities
Ability to be self-directed and responsive
Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
Collaborative and collegial team player who can work with a small team within a virtual, matrixed environment
Diplomacy, poise, maturity and empathy are all key attributes for success
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
At least 7 years of experience. Ideally, at least 1 year experience from a top tier professional services firm
Experience with conducting research for field building publications
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,765 to $213,725.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
