Deloitte Analytics and Insights Solutions Senior Communications Consultant in Los Angeles, California

We generate timely, specific, and real-world insights for our clients, and then help them apply these insights to develop a clear path of action that serves each organization's unique contexts, strategies and objectives. We are seeking innovative, confident, and practical subject matter experts in all areas of the people side of business to help lead our market-facing activities.

Work you'll do

As the Sr. Communications Consultant , (Insights-to-Action) you will be responsible for differentiating the brand, driving Deloitte's business priorities forward, innovating new marketing and communications solutions, and delivering distinct client experiences.

  • Facilitate marketing and communications activities including crafting compelling brand messaging, social media campaigns, promotional materials, and industry events

  • Maintain highest quality standards and adherence to our brand and style guidelines

  • Initiate and take ownership of ad hoc projects from end-to-end, collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders

  • Develops integrated marketing campaigns that leverage data and analytics to inform strategies and measure success

  • Effectively manage tight deadlines and competing priorities

  • Develop positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams, GDA, marketing teams, and all vendors.

  • Leverage best practices and templates to create a consistent brand experience; and bring fresh ideas to optimize performance

  • Provide clear timely communication of project statuses to internal teams and any third-party vendors

  • Works with stakeholders at all levels of the business to achieve strategic objectives (Manages print, digital, and video production projects)

  • Leverages design thinking, and other modern problem-solving tools, to develop innovative marketing solutions


    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or other related field

    • 5+ Years of Experience relating to communications, project management, marketing and client experience management

    • Experience developing work plans, obtaining approvals, estimating and tracking resource requirements, and communicating with stakeholders

    • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the business to achieve strategic objectives

    • Understands marketing fundamentals with a focus on strategy/trends and execution in the B2B arena

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

    • Ability to think creatively and conceptually, with a passion for storytelling

    • Strong creative, writing, editing, organizational, and strategic planning skills and a willingness to learn from others

    • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    • Willingness to travel up to 25 percent


  • Master's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field

  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm

  • Experience in the consulting or advisory fields

  • Project management support and workplan development experience
