Work you ll do/Responsibilities
As a Splunk Developer your main responsibilities will be to:
Multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals/objectives.
Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually.
Support a flexible work schedule (to include nights and weekends on occasion).
Comfortable performing task lead responsibilities for small to medium software projects.
Drive complex deployments of Splunk while working side by side with the customers to solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases
Collaborate across the entire Deloitte organization to bring access to product and technical teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive innovation gathered from customer input
Leverage previous experiences, share best practices and create innovative solutions to push user adoption and maximize the value of Splunk
Our Health Technology team implements repeatable solutions to solve our government clients most critical health technology related issues. We advise on, design, implement and deploy solutions focused on government health agencies heart of the business issues including claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics and health case management.
Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to leverage reusable, interoperable and flexible solutions that will enable them to reduce costs, improve health outcomes and respond to public health crises. Professionals will use their deep health, government and technology consulting experience to strategically help solve our client s technology challenges.
Bachelors degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience
3 years of expertise with security-related tools including Splunk, ISIM, ISAM, Optim
Development experience with Java, J2EE, Junit, Hibernate in a SOAP or REST based architecture
Automation scripting experience with GitHub, Jenkins or scripting languages including (Ansible, Shell, Bash, Perl)
Experience with Splunk Core configuration, log collection, and dashboards/alerts configuration/maintenance
Experience with Splunk ITSI configuration as well as alerts configuration/maintenance for end-to-end application performance monitoring
Experience with Security- ISIM, ISAM, Splunk, STIG Hardening
Proficient troubleshooting skills and ability to effectively work in cross functional teams as needed to resolve issues.
Must have the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
Must be able to relocate or live in the Lake Mary, FL, Gilbert, AZ or Mechanicsburg, PA areas
Must be able to travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Splunk Security Certification is preferred
Previous Consulting experience a plus
