Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Identify key client business issues, evaluate and validate analysis, and determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative strategies. Make recommendations to clients in the context of the overall engagement. Develop and present proposals for business development activities. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness, and to mitigate risks. Ensure testing standards have been met by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Lead the defect triage prices by identifying the key resources from different teams and product owners to derive root cause analysis and resolution. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle, and Product Design reviews. Identify, document, and track software defects using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Quality Center (QC). Create, run, and maintain automation regression scripts by utilizing Tricentis TOSCA and Unified Functional Test (UFT) automation tools. Develop test plans, test scripts, and requirements traceability matrix documents. Test applications developed in JAVA, .NET, AJAX and HTML. Document software defects by utilizing bug tracking systems Rally Software and JIRA and reporting defects to the development team. Analyze defects and prioritize their solutions, and conduct Software Integration Test (SIT) defects triage meetings with project stakeholders to present findings and make recommendations. Perform database checks using Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server. Validate required log files using WinSCP. Test web services to validate the Request and Response eXtensible Markup Languages (XMLs) using SoapUI. Perform pre-data migration and post-data migration checks on Source tables, Staging tables, and Target tables utilizing Teradata and Toad for Oracle database tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Applications, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field.

  • One year of experience in the above position, as a Senior Software Engineer, or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Quality Center (QC);

  • Creating, running, and maintaining automation regression scripts by utilizing Tricentis TOSCA and Unified Functional Test (UFT) automation tools;

  • Developing test plans, test scripts, and requirements traceability matrix documents;
