Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Leveraging analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, and generating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Gaining exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Assisting clients in addressing their most complex business challenges by maximizing performance of the Human Resource (HR) function through leading-edge systems and processes. Defining, building and implementing enhancements to HR processes and structure that will improve the HR function s alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results. Driving HR technology implementations through planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, etc. Developing application environments, database servers, databases, web servers for development, testing, production GO live and production support utilizing HPQC, HPALM, TeamCity, Jenkins, and Autosys. Designing and developing the Release Management process utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS) and HPALM. Using HPQC, UNIX, and Microsoft Visio to design and develop service modeling for the IT environment and planning CMDB (Configuration Management Database) activities. Developing workflows to automate processes and performing data modeling, data mapping, data conversion and migration, and extraction using Microsoft Excel, Informatica, ERWIN, and PowerShell. Carrying out unit testing and integration testing for all the developed mappings, workflows and reports using Markit EDM, Business Objects, and Cognos. Providing Quality Assurance support and fixing production bugs by leveraging HPALM, HPQC, and HPSM. Creating and running Autosys jobs and maintaining these jobs in the production environment using Autosys, UNIX, Microsoft Visio, and PowerShell.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • One year of experience as a Solution Specialist, Technical Analyst or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Developing application environments, database servers, databases, web servers for development, testing, production GO live and production support utilizing HPQC, HPALM, TeamCity, Jenkins, and Autosys;

  • Designing and developing the Release Management process utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS) and HPALM;

  • Using HPQC, UNIX, and Microsoft Visio to design and develop service modeling for the IT environment and planning CMDB (Configuration Management Database) activities;

  • Developing workflows to automate processes and performing data modeling, data mapping, data conversion and migration, and extraction using Microsoft Excel, Informatica, ERWIN, and PowerShell;
