Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Core Business Operations, System Engineering in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Gaining exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Assisting clients in addressing their most complex business challenges by maximizing performance of the Human Resource (HR) function through leading-edge systems and processes. Defining, building and implementing enhancements to HR processes and structure that will improve the HR function s alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results. Driving HR technology implementations through planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, etc. Utilizing TeamForge, Confluence, Advanced Excel, Quality Center, and JIRA to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases in order to prepare test cases, plans and strategies. Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open source and licensed version tools, including Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, QTP, and Qualitia. Enhancing test automation framework, developing test scripts, and executing test scripts in Business Process Test, Data driven, Hybrid frameworks and Behavior Driven Development. Reviewing test cases, execution status, test results and defects as reported for test completeness and correctness utilizing QTP, JIRA, Jbehave Report, Qualitia Report, and TestNG Report. Conducting automation feasibility analysis for functional test scenarios of customer facing web applications to identify automation scope. Designing test automation frameworks and developing new test automation libraries utilizing JAVA, IntelliJ Idea, Eclipse, and Selenium. Performing Unit Testing, integration testing, system testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, smoke testing and regression testing for web services, web applications, and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, QTP, and Post Man.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • One year of experience as Solution Specialist, Module Lead, Test Lead, Programmer Analyst or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Utilizing TeamForge, Confluence, Advanced Excel, Quality Center, and JIRA to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases in order to prepare test cases, plans and strategies;

  • Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open source and licensed version tools, including Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, QTP, and Qualitia;
