Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Human Capital, HR Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally

Work You ll Do

Transforming the way in which HR enables the business and workforce strategy, including HR strategy development, HR process re-engineering, HR operating model redesign, and services for HR and Payroll-related technology solutions. Directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Conducting fit gap analyses using industry reports, trends, best practices, and surveys that assess system requirements for transitioning data between legacy systems and Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud systems. Creating functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, for application development using Microsoft Visio and Advanced Excel. Creating swimlanes and functional block diagrams, and preparing current vs. future state flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint. Writing compensation eligibility, person selection, and column default fast formulas using Oracle Structured Query Language (SQL). Creating Rich Text Format (RTF) template rules and mapping them to client compensation statement requirements. Utilizing MS Office Suite, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to plan, design, configure, personalize, and test modules, including Compensation and Global Human Resource (HR). Identifying HR integrations, reporting, and customization requirements to be made in the HCM Cloud system, and working with the development team to ensure the requirements are solutioned. Managing the functional testing of compensation modules by writing workforce and individual compensation test scripts using Oracle Cloud Compensation functions and application test script generators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Conducting fit gap analyses using industry reports, trends, best practices, and surveys that assess system requirements for transitioning data between legacy systems and Oracle HCM Cloud systems;

  • Creating functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, for application development using Microsoft Visio and Advanced Excel;

  • Creating swimlanes and functional block diagrams, and preparing current vs. future state flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint;

  • Writing compensation eligibility, person selection, and column default fast formulas using Oracle SQL;

  • Creating RTF template rules and mapping them to client compensation statement requirements;

  • Utilizing MS Office Suite, OTBI, PL/SQL, and ALM to plan, design, configure, personalize, and test modules, including Compensation and Global HR;

  • Identifying HR integrations, reporting, and customization requirements to be made in the HCM Cloud system, and working with the development team to ensure the requirements are solutioned;

  • Managing the functional testing of compensation modules by writing workforce and individual compensation test scripts using Oracle Cloud Compensation functions and application test script generators.

  • 15% travel required.
