Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Core Business Operations, Systems Engineering in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Provide technology-enabled consulting services to clients through application support and technology solution implementation. Deliver components of client engagements that identity, design and implement business intelligence (BI) application solutions for large companies with a focus on enterprise data warehouse (EDW) applications. Evaluate client technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical design documentation. Define the scope of client engagements and assess resource allocation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for client engagements. Participate in the full software development lifecycle for the design, development and implementation of enterprise-level mainframe applications using programming languages (including COBOL, JCL, Ezytrive, REXX and CICS), development and maintenance tools (including Endevar, Xpeditor, File-AID, Control-M and SDF II), and databases (including DB2, IMS DB and Oracle); Meet with business users and functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical assistance to resolve complicated business requirements; Coordinate with offshore teams to align on requirements and delivery timelines according to project scope and schedules; Provide test support for system integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing using Jira, HP Services and HP Quality Center; Plan, develop, coordinate and lead software release activities with application and supporting teams during software deployments and implementations using HP Service Center and eforms for release management, and Snow Ticketing for change management; Follow incident management processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide solutions for production incidents, while maintaining system stability in production environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle for the design, development and implementation of enterprise-level mainframe applications using programming languages (including COBOL, JCL, Ezytrive, REXX and CICS), development and maintenance tools (including Endevar, Xpeditor, File-AID, Control-M and SDF II), and databases (including DB2, IMS DB and Oracle);

  • Meeting with business users and functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical assistance to resolve complicated business requirements;

  • Coordinating with offshore teams to align on requirements and delivery timelines according to project scope and schedules;

  • Providing test support for system integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing using Jira, HP Services and HP Quality Center;

  • Planning, developing, coordinating and leading software release activities with application and supporting teams during software deployments and implementations using HP Service Center and eforms for release management, and Snow Ticketing for change management;

  • Following incident management processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and providing solutions for production incidents, while maintaining system stability in production environments.

  • 15% travel required.

  • Telecommuting permitted.
