Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Manager in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Oversee the delivery and deployment of customized applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, performance testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment. Handle daily interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement technical solutions for large companies. Supervise teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training and defining support procedures. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize pursuit teams, participate in aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Responsible for the full system development life cycle implementation and all phases of new service development. Conduct current state business process analysis, mapping and design. Guide conceptual and technical designs including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Work through the full software development lifecycle according to Waterfall and Agile methodologies to develop and implement Mainframe technology solutions. Use SharePoint and JIRA for project tracking and maintaining project-related documents. Design enterprise-level Mainframe applications for clients across a variety of sectors using DataBase 2 (DB2), Information Management System Database/Data Communications (IMS DB/DC), Customer Information Control System (CICS), Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM), Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL) and Job Control Language (JCL). Execute manual and automated testing of Mainframe applications throughout full testing lifecycle, including regression, system, user acceptance, performance and production parallel testing. Interface with clients to gather functional and technical requirements, demonstrate prototypes and support resolution of performance issues with performance tuning techniques using Strobe. Analyze existing systems and applications to develop plans for modernization, ensuring developed solutions will successfully integrate into existing frameworks. Participate in and lead project meetings, including developing project plan tasks, schedules and milestones. Participate in long-range planning and development of application and product roadmaps with business unit owners. Maintain application health by reducing technical debt using Computer Aided Software Testing (CAST) and SonarQube. Perform software configuration management using Endevor and ChangeMan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.

  • Five years of experience as a Project Delivery Manager, Technical Team Lead, Technical Lead or a related occupation.

  • Must have five years of experience with:

  • Working through the full software development lifecycle according to Waterfall and Agile methodologies to develop and implement Mainframe technology solutions;

  • Using SharePoint and JIRA for project tracking and maintaining project-related documents;

  • Designing enterprise-level Mainframe applications for clients across a variety of sectors using DataBase 2 (DB2), Information Management System Database/Data Communications (IMS DB/DC), Customer Information Control System (CICS), Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM), Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL) and Job Control Language (JCL);
