Oracle Peoplesoft Developer Senior Solution Specialist - USDC

Work you ll do/Responsibilities

  • Perform PeopleSoft 9.2 data conversion activities by developing programs for converting legacy PeopleSoft data from older versions (PS 7.5, 8.4, 8.8) into PS 9.2

  • Conversion scope also includes analyzing of legacy data and assist functional teams with mapping activities between source and target systems and come up with high-level approach on extracting the legacy data and performing cleanup activities

  • Develop and execute conversion programs using Applications Engines (with File Layout) and / or Excel to CI.

  • Develop programs with the ability to map and convert data from existing Chart of Accounts structure to the future state Chart of Accounts.

  • Ensure all data is validated and converted into the format to be used in the target system and build post-conversion scripts for data reconciliation.

  • Develop Interface program programs using Application Engines / Web services.

  • Design high-level approach to identify and manage integrations with third-party systems

  • Develop strategy and best practices for integration between PS FSCM 9.2 and PS HCM (Older versions).

  • Design and develop inbound/outbound integrations using Peoplesoft Integration broker

  • Develop good understanding for error handling and File archival structure of inbound and outbound interfaces.

  • Ability to differentiate between different file transfer protocols and make the best decision for the interface development.

  • Customize or develop new functionalities using Application Package, PeopleCode and PeopleTools

  • Analyze, define and design Functional/technical solution for PeopleSoft enhancements

  • Perform break-fix activities

  • Develop Fluid pages-based workflow using the Approval workflow framework

  • Develop BI Publisher and nVision reports

  • Develop Pivot Grids and Work centers

  • Taking a handoff from the functional team for technical RICEW objects

  • Create and review Technical Design, Build & migration documentation

  • Analysis, resolution and technical support on defects and Change Requests

Oracle ERP products include Oracle Cloud SaaS, EBS, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards. Our goal is to expand our presence in the Federal Oracle marketplace through the development of impactful internal and external eminence.

Qualifications

Required

7 years of PeopleSoft Development experience and must have experience on Implementation (PeopleSoft v7.5 to 9.2).

Expertise in Application Designer, Application Packages, People Code, Application Engine, Workflow, Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).

Expertise in XML/BI Publisher reporting, Component Interface, Integration Broker, File Layout, Process Scheduler, Data Mover and PS Query tool.

Expertise in PeopleSoft Fluid Pages.

Expertise with Oracle SQL Queries.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; interacting with IT staff and all levels of end users on a global basis.

Bachelor s degree in IT/Computers or equivalent experience.

Preferred

Finance Functional Knowledge

Spanish Language fluency preferred
