Deloitte’s new Purpose Office is seeking a highly effective Analytics Lead for our Goal Tracking & Reporting team. The Analytics Lead joins a growing, talented, diverse team that will be responsible for measuring the progress of our firm-wide purpose strategy related to Deloitte’s commitment to purpose in communities, with clients, throughout the firm, and via our people. You will work with a small, dedicated team and an expanded matrix of colleagues across the organization. As Lead, you will leverage disparate data to identify trends and make informed business decisions in accordance with the Purpose Office mission and priorities; Furthermore, you will advise the office on data management and business analytics to enable continuous and sustained value creation. You will leverage your strong analytical and critical thinking skills and your ability to communicate findings to the team, ensuring we are on track to hit established purpose office goals.
The Work You’ll Do:
Work across the Purpose Office with leaders to define goals and metrics for all aspects of our portfolio
Collect and analyze data to measure and report out on progress toward goals
Develop external and internal reports, visualize the data collected and showcase our Purpose aspirations and progress
Conduct competitor research to understand purpose-related reporting landscape and inform our reporting strategy
Work closely with the team to help develop content and present information to leaders for key meetings
Monitor key milestones and activities for general project management and executive level reporting
- Bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant professional experience
Past proven experience comfort managing and analyzing large and disparate data sets using tools such as Excel or Tableau;
Experience developing visualizations to help clearly communicate data insights to others
Experience identifying opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis
Ability to manage projects, including developing milestones, prioritizing activities, effectively communicating risks/issues, etc.
Experience managing information across a highly matrixed environment
Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility and adaptability
Ability to collaborate across disparate teams
Strong personal leadership and communication abilities, while empowering others to grow and deliver results
Ability to communicate a clear vision and priorities
Ability to work in a virtual environment
Ability to travel up to 10% (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
