As part of Deloitte's Emerging Market Opportunities team, you will work across the global firm to identify nascent trends in the marketplace, define the unique value that Deloitte can bring to its clients, build a centralized go-to-market strategy, and develop the mechanisms required for innovation, acceleration, demand generation, and market capture.

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for managing the national project office, as well as overseeing a team of Analysts and Consultants (1-2 individuals) and coordinating across multiple emerging market teams (3-4 teams, initially).

Sense and make-sense-of emerging markets 3+ years from widespread business impact. Offer a pragmatic approach to futurism as a strategic discipline, driving Deloitte and our clients toward a more profitable future.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Creating a consistent approach for proactively identifying and prioritizing emerging market opportunities (starting with ESG, Trust, 5G, and Blockchain, and adding to the portfolio as new topics emerge as priority areas in the marketplace and for the firm)

  • Aligning market opportunities with profitability in the minds of decision-makers by using market data to build a standardized business case

  • Developing a unified go-to-market strategy to win 'big' in the market through shaping the firms prioritized suite of emerging opportunities, which can be leveraged for repeatable success

  • Building a framework, structure, and "one-stop shop" for leadership decision-making around funding and resource allocation

  • Identifying linkages across the global Firm network to integrate, cross-pollinate, upsell, and leverage alliance partner technologies in emerging market "storefronts" and demand gen

  • Owning the emerging market opportunity agenda and create leadership team alignment on new and nascent topics, allowing for quick execution on emerging opportunities & synergies across the business

  • Directing, prioritizing, and initiating demand generation campaigns, tracking pipeline, and celebrating wins up-and-down the sales funnel

  • Reimagining over and over how we work differently with our clients, potential clients, and alliance partners by gathering feedback, measuring ROI, and refining benchmarks

  • Galvanizing the team's vision/mission/purpose across the global firm to provide an opportunity for other business units to come to Advisory early in the process

  • Mentoring teammates and leading work threads to support the project office

  • Preparing executive-level presentations, business cases, report-outs, and communications around emerging market opportunities and program-level activities

Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, strategy/marketing/sales, or another related field

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or marketing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Independent worker, self-starter who excels at completing tasks and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrable experience in consistently delivering high quality results

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred:

  • An MBA or equivalent master's degree

  • Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote resources

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $161,330.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
