DataManagement Services Consultant

Our Discovery professionalsassist clients and their legal counsel collect, preserve and analyze large anddisparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of commercialinvestigations and complex litigation. We combine our computer forensic andinvestigative skills with advanced discovery labs and cutting-edge technologyto offer innovative solutions to our clients' complex legal problems. DeloitteDiscovery helps counsel and companies control the costs and mitigate the risksassociated with the discovery process. Within our operations, DeloitteDiscovery is comprised of the following Computer Forensics, Discovery AdvisoryServices, Document Review Services and Electronic Discovery.

Work you ll do

You will work directly withDeloitte s discovery team, the client and outside counsel to solve complex dataissues. Here are just some to the things you will be doing:

  • Execute day-to-day activities on client engagements

  • Help prepare and present oral and written reports and presentations

  • Help define resource requirements

  • Work in a hands-on capacity with Relativity and other Discovery technologies

  • Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

  • Participate in initiatives to improve the capabilities of the practice

  • 1-2 years of Discovery/Discovery Consulting experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the Discovery lifecycle including document collection, processing, review and production

  • 1 year's experience working with Relativity

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management

  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities

  • Strong ability to properly delegate work load

  • Demonstrated ability to provide services involving accounting and business consulting projects; participate in client presentations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Must be absolutely flexible with the 50% travel requirements of client service projects

  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


  • Understanding of corporate law department operations

  • Understanding of e-discovery processes and tools and systems

  • Information governance and document retention in the context of e-discovery

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms

  • Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services

  • Experience in professional services firm preferred

  • The ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas to in non-technical terms
