Disruptive Technology Strategy Senior Consultant

Work you ll do

We help clientsre-imagine the relationship between technology and business by designing futurebusiness strategies that leverage the latest technologies, operating models,platforms, eco-systems and capabilities to drive business value.

Our practitionerswork collaboratively within integrated, cross-functional teams to deliverbusiness transformation through introducing tools and services, such as Cloud,Cognitive and Analytics, Blockchain, and RPA. We team closely with our clientsto create real business change and deliver solutions that deliver positiveeconomic impact. Our practitioners are expected to deliver and enableinnovative strategies and solutions, develop deep client relationships, andbring a viewpoint and perspective to their work every day.

Senior Consultantswill synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions,selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific clientrequirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, andinterpreting and reporting on outputs. You will participate in settingengagement objectives and scope; develop work plans for components ofengagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes inscope. Senior Consultants will also design deliverable content to preciselyreflect the engagement contract and client needs and strive to improvedeliverable quality through verification and validation of results.

Our Strategypractice brings together several key capabilities that will allow us to designintegrated programs that transform our clients businesses, including Corporate& Business Unit Strategy, Technology Strategy & Insights, EnterpriseModel Design, and Enterprise Cloud Strategy & Business Transformation.

Strategyprofessionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, working with themto make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win, in orderto drive growth and enterprise value.

Strategy SeniorConsultants will help our clients to:

  • Identify strategies for growth and value creation, leveraging methods and tools like the Strategic Choice Cascade

  • Develop the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision

  • Maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology and Cloud trends to architect future business strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor s degree and 5 years consulting/and or industry experience or an MBA with 2 years relevant work experience

  • Ability to articulate leading business trends, including the associated technology implications within one or more industries

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization

  • Experience with workload assessment, business case development, operational assessment, roadmap creation, vendor selection, and operating model design

  • Excellent articulation, communication and strong inter personal skills

  • Ability to challenge the norm when identifying process improvement opportunities

  • Knowledge of technology software development lifecycles and the business of IT

  • Experience working with cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/BPaaS), digital, and analytics solutions

  • Exhibit a passion for technology and have a thirst to continually learn and keep pace with the accelerating change across multiple technologies and solutions

  • Must have participated in one or more projects involving:

  • Example Engagements: IT Strategy, Cloud Strategy,Current State Capability Assessment, Future State Design, Roadmap Development, Operating Model Design, Service Management Design, Application Assessment, Data Management Strategy, IT Financial Management, Process Maturity, Process and Tool Deployment

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to travel 80% of the time (Monday Thursday)

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Eagerness to lead and mentor junior staff

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization (MBA Preferred)
