Work You ll Do

Play lead role in engagement planning, economics, and billing and participate in proposal development efforts. Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities and assist in retention of professionals. Lead teams with multiple work streams through the full life cycle of an engagement. Serve as subject matter expert with respect to market trends and competitor activities. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Lead teams in the construction and assessment of high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Manage the development of information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Utilize senior level knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Build and nurture strong client relationships. Make presentations to senior client contacts, lead client facing meetings and liaise with executive level personnel.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Three years of experience developing, implementing, and architecting security threat detection systems for clients across various industries.

  • Experience must include three years of:

  • Performing systems integration and engineering of User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) solutions;

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing security use cases to detect insider threats and cyber threats using machine learning algorithms;

  • Performing UEBA readiness assessments, including leading the evaluation of security monitoring coverage and logging architecture;

  • Delivering multiple projects using the Project Management Framework, including use of Excel tools such as index-match and macros, and coordinating ongoing daily operations activities including project and risk reporting;

  • Conducting assessments of processes for identifying gaps, generating KPIs, and recommending roadmaps using Excel and PowerPoint stories;

  • Managing vendor relationships, including identifying new opportunities and tracking ongoing engagements;

  • Assisting in business development activities, including performing technology-specific client proposal work and pre-sale activities;

  • Leading engagement planning, economics, and billing, and participating in extension efforts; and

  • Demonstrating general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities and assisting in training professionals.

  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and five years ofexperience as stated above.

  • Position requires approximately 80% travel.
