Work You ll Do

Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects within the TPRM space. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Construct and assess high-level and detailed programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate solutions. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability. Understand clients' business environment and risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Utilize knowledge of TPRM business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management. Build and nurture strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Risk Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months experience with business process design and analysis and third-party risk management (TPRM).

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Cyber risk and regulatory compliance experience;

  • Developing, implementing, and architecting information systems;

  • Assisting with full lifecycle of engagement and coordinating client resources and teams, financials, risk evaluations, and liaising with client;

  • Performing controls and process design, implementation, and assessment;

  • Assisting with developing inherent risk and due diligence questionnaires, scoring methodologies and issues management processes to measure and mitigate third party risk exposure, including building artefacts for tool implementations;

  • Developing enhanced target state processes and operating models with regard to third party risk management, including BRDs and FRDs, for multiple risk domains, including Reputational, Financial, Geo-political, and anti-corruption risks;

  • Assisting with developing RFP scoring methodologies and assisting clients in evaluating and selecting required TPRM platform;

  • Assisting with development of operating and governance models for TPRM programs, enterprise level policies and procedures, and roles and responsibilities matrix (RACI);

  • Assisting with developing risk-sensing processes for screening vendors using leading vendors market intelligence tools, including Thompson Reuters World Check; and

  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members.

  • Position requires approximately 80% travel.
