Work you ll do

Deloittes Government & Public Services (GPS) Human Capital practice is seeking an exceptional Human Capital Senior Manager practitioner with an Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one. Practitioners must be based in the Huntsville, AL, area and open to a small amount of travel. The Human Capital Senior Manager will participate in projects for the design, reconfiguring, and implementation of new operating models for organizational structure design, business governance and control procedures, talent strategy re-alignment, customer and operational metrics, and budget re-appropriation using business process mapping. Assist client senior executives in utilizing organization perspectives and methods to execute business strategies, improve operations and performance, and optimize roles and responsibilities. Develop HR process maps and frameworks that support improved client future-state organizational design and alignment including HR processes and operations. Conduct work simplification and measurement studies and prepare operations to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes of forms and reports. Develop high-level business process designs, including creating and updating process flows and mapping detailed requirements to documented process flows using advanced MS Excel, Access, Visio, and macros. Create work plans, scope deliverables, track milestones, and plan and manage resources utilizing MS Project and MS Excel. Oversee project subject matter expert (SME) feedback session, internal QA process, role mapping, delivery schedule, and training deployment.

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Industrial and Organizational Development/Psychology, or a related discipline

  • 8 years of experience in one of the above stated fields

  • Active Secret clearance preferred or the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
