The candidate must be local to the Huntsville, AL area and must be able to commute there daily. This position will require an existing, active Secret clearance. Federal experience is a must.

Work you ll do

The HR Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of projects, including support to programs and initiatives involving the HR department as well as cross-functional teams across Directorates and the enterprise. This individual will lead and/or support the delivery of a project tasks and deliverables, and interface with all areas affected by the project, which may include HR Leadership team members as well as other departments within the business and enterprise. The PM will plan and direct schedules, milestones, due dates as well as the project budget. The project manager assesses project challenges that may arise, develops resolutions, gains support and alignment from key clients and stakeholders. The PM will development work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. This individual will lead a team of approximately 30 project staff, and will lead and conduct meetings, track project deliverables, management Prime and subcontractor staff, and take the action necessary to direct the solution to problems through the project team.

Qualifications

Required:

10 years of experience Project Management and Federal human resources and the following:

Performance Management

Training Management

Maintaining Employee Files

Customer Relationship Management

Project Management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, federal workforce databases, and use of e-learning software

Active Secret Clearance

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Performance Management, Training Management, Maintaining Employee Files, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management, Office Experience - General, Reporting Skills, Verbal Communication, Administrative Writing Skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, federal workforce databases, and use of e-learning software.
