Deloitte Digital Innovation Manager in Huntsville, AL (Secret Clearance Required) in Huntsville, Alabama

Work you'll do

Our Federal client in Huntsville, AL is establishing a Digital Transformation Office (DTO); this role will provide direct support to the Program Director as part of a larger team responsible for establishment of the DTO and execution of top Digital Transformation (DT) priorities within the agency.

  • Foster innovative strategies for acceleration of current and future DTO initiatives at the enterprise level.

  • Conduct outreach with industry and academia to facilitate innovative solutions to organizational challenges using digital approaches.

  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships within the client agency, within the Deloitte Huntsville office and across the Deloitte firm to ensure that the best of Deloitte expertise, experience, and solutioning within the Commercial and DoD sectors may be brought to bear upon clients' problem sets within the DT space

  • Support DTO planning, coordination and communication of DT initiatives in support of specified DTO initiative sprints.

  • Develop professional rapport and maintain communication between DTO and other client stakeholders as specified by the Director.

  • Analyze and research digital transformation programs, plans, and current issues to formulate specific actions and/or recommendations that will result in the best interest the client.

  • Maintain cognizance and knowledge of actions/issues in DTO areas affecting the interest of the client and keep the Director informed concerning the DTO issues, operations, and accomplishments.

  • Attend high level meetings, in the absence of the Director, and coordinate with stakeholders on matters of interest and to influence and/or persuade others to accept and implement recommendations, program changes or improvements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of professional experience

  • Active Secret Se curity clearance required

  • Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment

  • Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking

  • Problem solving skills and consultative approach with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices

  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

  • Travel up to 10%

Preferred:

  • PMP certification

  • Consulting and/or federal government industry experience

  • Leadership experience in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment with minimal oversight and an agile mindset

  • Experience leading teams through a digital transformation including change management
