This position is responsible for providing strategic marketing support for Deloitte s Higher Education (HE) practice. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HE marketing professional with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrix organization.
Work you ll do
The HE Senior Marketing Specialist will support the HE practice leaders in planning and executing marketing campaigns and have responsibility for supporting content marketing through our Center for Higher Education Excellence. The specialist will report to a Senior Marketing Manager on the Government and Public Services (GPS) industry marketing team and will work closely with the team to differentiate the Deloitte brand, drive Deloitte s business priorities forward, deliver innovative content marketing strategies, and report marketing s contributions to HE leadership.
Specific areas of focus include:
Marketing & Communications Fundamentals: Ability to apply marketing and communications leading practices to drive business goals
Project Management and Campaign Activation: Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital strategy
Writing: Develop different types of content including, but not limited to, ad copy, web copy, social copy and marketing collateral, for internal and external audiences
Thought leadership marketing: Facilitate the design, writing, editing, and promotion of marketing and eminence pieces
Business Advisor: Serve as strategic marketing advisor to key stakeholders within areas of responsibility
Content Development: Develop and edit content and collateral material, and refresh website content for consistent messaging and clear voice, in language that resonates with a higher education executive leadership audience
Social Media:Create and implement full social media plans for campaigns
Event Production and Management: Lead strategy, planning logistics, invitations, registration, production and on-site oversight to create an experience and environment to foster greater connections with our clients and prospects elevating Deloitte s brand in the market
Impact Reporting: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) at the start of a campaign, track progress, report metrics to leadership, and articulate what the metrics mean for future campaigns
Budget Management: Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns
