Deloitte Lead Software Solutions Specialist - ServiceNow in Houston, Texas

Work you'll do

  • Design, Development, and Implementation of ServiceNow customization including, but not limited to core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.

  • Perform advanced customizations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports etc.

  • Perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for ServiceNow platform, (ServiceNow) applications.

  • Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements, and integrations with ServiceNow platform applications.

  • Should have good amount of knowledge on business flow following ServiceNow applications:

  • ITSM (Incident/ Problem/ Change/ Request/ Configuration) Management

  • SPM (Financial Management, PPM (Project Portfolio Management), Workspaces, Resource Management)

  • Discovery - On-Premise & Off- Premise

  • ITAM - IT Asset Management

  • ITOM - IT Operations Management

  • GRC - Governance Risk & Compliance

  • ServiceNow Event Management

  • ServiceNow Portal

  • Integration and ServiceNow Scripting (Glide, (JavaScript, Angular JS, Ajax, XML, JSON etc. HTML and CSS))

  • Maintain pace with ServiceNow versioning.

  • Perform upgrades and customizations of ServiceNow platform applications based on guidance from project manager, architects, ITIL practice leads and customers.

  • Maintain and adhere to source code, configuration management, release management and software development best practices.

  • Develop training materials and provide end-user or IT technician training on using the ServiceNow functionality.

  • Provide in-person support daily to customer and team, this will include direct interaction with the Executive staff and other key management.

  • Maintain ServiceNow training and knowledge thru self-learning, attending conferences and training

  • Responsible for proactive problem and risk management Triage and fix defects found in ServiceNow platform, applications, and workflows.

  • Providing support/guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.

  • Reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.

  • Defining and validating non-functional (technical) requirements and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent educational qualifications

  • Minimum 8 total years various technology related experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer using: web-based technologies HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, Angular JS, CSS3, with SQL Server and other backend Microsoft technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating data pathways, customizing fields and customizations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports in ServiceNow

  • Experience working ServiceNow Cloud Platform solutions integrating with other Cloud Applications and Data Sources

  • Messaging architectures SOAP and REST with JSON text encoding

  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification

  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification

  • ITIL Certifications

  • ServiceNow training and certifications

  • Experience with third party plug-ins that offer cost effective business solutions

  • Prior experience in supporting proposals and providing written content for prospects

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $191,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation
