Work you'll do

As an OTT Insurance Transformation Senior Consultant, you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. You will be the lead person to interface between the clients and our Deloitte teams. You will serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Senior Consultants will define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures and implementation. You will develop and review system requirements, design the solution, redefine the business, present the prototype, and lead the testing of our custom technology solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4 years consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty, Commercial lines, Specialty Insurance and/or Life & Annuities/Group

  • 2 years of experience supporting the estimating and planning of Large-Scale System Implementations

  • 4 years of experience working in one of the following sub service areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution

  • 4 years demonstrated experience in logical structuring, storyboarding and presentation development using PowerPoint

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, business analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, and testing

  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Limited Sponsorship Available

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in area of technical specialization

  • CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification

  • Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification

  • 4 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package (specific to P&C)

  • 4 years of experience in Life & Annuities Solutions with FAST, Sapiens, Calcfocus, ALIP, Vertafore/VUE, iPipeline iGo, Firelight or Unqork (specific to Life, Annuities and Group)

  • 2 years of experience delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology

  • 2 years of experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration

  • Agile / SAFe / Scrum Master / PMP Certification

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950 - $208,250.
