Deloitte Epic Willow Pharmacy Consultant in Houston, Texas
Work you'll do/Responsibilities Working on some unique projects in our sector, you'll have the opportunity to improve the way health systems provide patient care through the support of an Epic Electronic Health Record. Your time will be spent not only designing, building, and testing the Epic system, but also engaging with operations to prepare them to adopt the optimizations and enhancements.
Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module
Work with application end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner
Conduct ongoing system build and configuration for assigned Epic module
Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation
Contribute to the development of testing scripts and materials
Actively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and perform unit, system and integrated testing tasks and activities
Complete specific team task activities as outlined in the project work plan and other job-related duties as assigned
Attend team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, work tasks, and issues
Create and maintain regular status reports and provide verbal and written status to project managers and project leadership, as required
Coordinate with the offshore team for continuity of build and support
The Team Our Digital CARE team focuses on Epic implementations, ongoing support, optimizations, enhancements, rollouts and upgrades.
Qualifications
Required
Certification in at least one Epic module
Project experience in designing and building workflows and optimizations using the Epic Willow module
3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare IT setting
College degree or equivalent years of experience
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to identify issues, prioritize and problem solve to resolution
Superior communication and customer service abilities
Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment
Travel up to 10% annually
Preferred
Technology or Healthcare related degree
Additional Certifications in Welcome, HB or PB preferred
Ability to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
