Work you ll do/Responsibilities
Deloitte will be the partner for the ongoing support of Epic system for large hospital system across multiple locations. Deloitte will deliver services onshore from four locations in Tacoma, Houston, Omaha, and Denver and offshore from Deloitte Consulting s global delivery centers at Bengaluru and Hyderabad in India.
Working on some unique projects in our sector, you ll have the opportunity to transform the way health systems provide patient care through the implementation of an Epic Electronic Health Record. Your time will be spent not only designing, building, and testing the Epic system, but also engaging with operations to prepare them to adopt the new technology.
Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for their assigned Epic module
Work with application end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner
Conduct ongoing system build and support for their assigned Epic module
Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation
Work with functional teams to resolve client issues specific to configuration/system changes
Demonstrate abilities to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex healthcare issues in Epic Systems
Work with leaders to identify risks and help create strategies to improve business processes.
Develop documentation highlighting potential technical challenges while consulting on potential technical solutions.
Work with internal and external teams to meet deliverables in accordance with clients timelines
Coordinate with the offshore team for continuity of build and support
Core Industry Solutions
Our Core Industry Solutions practice encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business. Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE (Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino).
The team brings experience from across Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities.
3 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare IT setting
Certification in Epic Grand Central (ADT) and/or Cadence
Ability to work with Epic functional and technical teams to help improve process initiatives
1 to 3 years of experience with hospital patient system EPIC
Strong understanding of the core foundational build and support of Epic system
Experience with Epic application implementation of add-ons, and deployment of system enhancements/optimizations
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Possess exceptional analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills
Effective interpersonal skills, team building and communication skills
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Bachelor s Degree, preferably in healthcare, business, technology or related field.
Preferred candidate would be within a commutable distance, or be willing to relocate, to the: Houston, Texas, Omaha, Nebraska or Tacoma, Washington area
