Work You ll Do

Develop control frameworks encompassing regulatory requirements, including privacy and Sarbanes Oxley, and application security designs. Interface with internal audit, business, IT, and members of executive management to design and implement solutions. Audit SAS-70 controls and manage clients' and engagement managements' expectations. Help to identify and evaluate complex business process and technology risks. Evaluate and implement internal controls that mitigate risks. Participate in risk assessments, determine internal audit plans, execute internal audit programs, assess issues, and work with management to determine remediation plans and track progress. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Demonstrate knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, products, and service lines. Assist in preparing project plans and weekly status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of experience analyzing data and processes to improve operations.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Advising on technical and operations processes to identify areas of improvement for clients in the energy industry;

  • Optimizing operations and using technological systems by analyzing process maps using MS Visio and other relevant process mapping tools;

  • Analyzing complex data sets in the energy industry, and building complex operational and financial models utilizing MS Excel;

  • Designing and facilitating workshops to develop strategies and action plans for complex focus areas, including technological advancements and managing risks from an operational and regulatory perspective;

  • Facilitating client interviews for stakeholders to understand current state of operations, management and associated organizational and cultural issues;

  • Designing tools to track and monitor budget and project status, drafting corporate communications, and designing trainings utilizing MS Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint; and

  • Collaborating with and leading teams, both onshore and offshore, to support the delivery of client engagements and internal efforts.

  • Position requires 80% travel.
