Payroll Processing: Senior Payroll Analyst

What You ll Do
As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will use your payroll expertise and leadership skills to support the payroll processing of theDeloitte US entities. As subject matter expert and process owner, you will act as escalation support and business advisor and will maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards in communicating with both external and internal contacts. The role may require flexibility around overtime. This role provides support for the US Firm biweekly Payroll, involving over 60,000 employees:
Subject Matter Expert / Process Owner of one or more processes such as Long Term Travel, Military LOA, Loan Claims and Collections, State Disability, Paid Family Leave, Personnel Changes, Salary Continuation, Separations, Sabbaticals and Seasonal Rotation programs
Serve as a Tax Subject Matter Expert with responsibilities for identifying, reviewing and correcting various resident and work tax situations
Act as a business advisor for Payroll Leadership, Talent and other stakeholders as it relates to new programs or changes to existing programs
Partner with other teams for development, training and implementing new processes
Provide a second level of escalation for non-routine issues and questions from other teams, including review of changes to established procedures
Determine and implement improvements to increase efficiency in areas of ownership
Manage or participate in projects across US and India teams
Support other team responsibilities such as non-resident state taxation and W2C
Other tasks and projects as assigned
