The Partner Matters Managing Director Performance Management team oversees, leads, and collaborates with the businesses/channels and Firm Leadership in the design and execution of the managing director (MD) performance management and compensation processes. The team s primary focus is driving fair and equitable processes for managing directors.

The Senior Specialist on the Performance Management team supports all aspects of the MD performance management and compensation life-cycle, including goal-setting, mid-year, year-end evaluation, peering, and compensation. The Senior Specialist helps support all aspects of this life-

Job Responsibilities Senior Specialist (Performance Management)

  • Team with Partner Matters Senior Manager, Managing Director, and Partner in the planning and execution of the MD performance management and compensation processes by:

  • Performing, checking, and interpreting data analyses that support process reviews and leadership decisions; translating data into insights to help craft a story or draw conclusions

  • Developing materials for leadership meetings, including detailed meeting agendas, PPT slides and speaker notes/talking points

  • Supporting process planning activities, including contributing to the performance management calendar and scheduling/coordinating leadership meeting logistics (e.g., room identification, video conference locations, catering, meeting invitation updates, etc.)

  • Updating and maintaining key performance management process documents

  • Provide support for the Elevate PPMD (Partner, Principle, Managing Director) performance management system by assisting the Performance Management team and businesses/channels with:

  • Preparing the system for each performance management phase (goal setting, mid-year, year-end, flash surveys)

  • Gathering, prioritizing, designing, socializing, and testing system enhancements

  • Addressing and responding to end user support requests

  • Maintain the database (PEPS) that houses all the historical and current information that support the MD performance management and compensation processes. This includes:

  • Reconciling data from various sources to maintain current managing director headcount and ensure the integrity of the PEPS data

  • Collaborating with performance management team and outside vendor to implement system enhancements; validating data during system updates or enhancements

  • Verifying migration of data to other firm systems (e.g. Elevate)

  • Prepare data in response to data requests from within the organization regarding managing director information in compliance with confidentiality protocols

  • Act as a trusted advisor for the business/channel Process Champions. This includes participating in regular meetings with the Process Champions, preparing and contributing to process communications, resolving data inaccuracies and system issues, and having regular contact and information sharing with these stakeholders throughout the process

  • Support the Shared Services/USA Peering Committee and their annual reviews. This includes preparing communications, analyses, meeting presentations and materials, and coordinating meeting logistics

  • Participate in analytics and strategic projects related to MD performance management and compensation
