Work You ll Do

General Responsibilities

  • Guides the strategic direction, operations, and maintenance for Risk and Brand Protection.

  • Leads Risk and Brand Protection technology teams (e.g. Release planning, Release delivery, Production Support, Leading, Coordinating and Communicating cross-application deliverables and activities).

  • Directs, evaluates and monitors the progress of overall program and facilitates discussions with various departments (e.g. Member Firm Leadership, ITS leadership, ITS Delivery teams) around business objectives, functionality, architecture, and product support.

  • Researches new and emerging market trends to evaluate the direction and longevity of solutions and optimization tools and processes for running Risk and Brand Protection solutions.

  • Monitors compliance to standardized procedures and best practices and creates new policies and processes as needed.

  • Performs a combination of professional and management duties over work staff.May serve internal or external clients.

  • Oversee product roadmap, planning, delivery, release management, and deployment across business process teams to ensure technology standards and business needs are met.

  • Leads and facilitates executive level meetings representing the progress and direction of the team and work that they are doing.

Product Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate roadmap sessions with Risk and Brand Protection ITS and Business Leadership.

  • Ensure that roadmaps are executed in line with the established strategy.

  • Monitors and prepare Risk and Brand Protection program work plans, budget, and schedules.

  • May directly manage the budget and timelines.Also, engage leadership in the budgeting and planning process for Risk and Brand Protection program and provide leadership with status updates and potential issues.

  • Understands business and industry direction to provide advice on Risk and Brand Protection product future.

  • Seek ways to reduce related costs and increase efficiencies of Risk and Brand Protection program.

  • In collaboration with Risk and Brand Protection business process leads, integrate the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current and future) into vision and direction for the Risk and Brand Protection program.

  • Ensure that all products have the appropriate support and maintenance processes in place.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Partners with business and technical leaders to maintain and support Risk and Brand Protection enterprise wide business solutions.

  • Partner with Risk and Brand Protection business process and technology leads and PMO to ensure all development aspects of SDLC for Deloitte Application Studios projects are executed.

  • Ensure all support and maintenance projects are in accordance with Risk and Brand Protection strategy and adhere to product and channel vision and product innovation roadmaps.

  • Overall leadership and coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Partner with channel leaders and Risk and Brand Protection Delivery teams to support S/4 Enterprise wide solutions.

  • Partner with Risk and Brand Protection business process teams to ensure appropriate and required documentation and communications to our Member Firm customers are completed.

  • Ensure resources assigned to projects are meeting deadlines and focused on the right activities.

  • Escalate issues, risks, and decisions to the Risk and Brand Protection Program Director and other stakeholders as necessary and develop mitigating actions.

  • Monitor progress and status of deliverables.

  • Review Risk and Brand Protection support deliverables for completeness of thought and consistency of approach and interface.

  • Ensure standards, procedures, and methodologies in the delivery life cycle are followed.

  • Communicate development and production status and issues to management and stakeholders.

Project Delivery Teaming:

  • Partner with Risk and Brand Protection Delivery leads to prepare overall schedules, milestones, tasks, and estimates.

  • Participate in technology/solution decisions with architecture and Risk and Brand Protection Delivery teams.

  • Partner with Solution/Application Architects to ensure that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented.

  • Motivate delivery teams and instill a mindset of continuous process improvement.

  • Manage daily progress and status of program deliverables.

  • Closely monitor delivery and support workload.

  • Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.
