Manager, Finance Business Partner Enabling Area/Parent
The Business Planning & Analysis Finance Business Partner organization provides specialized finance-related services in support of the business leaders of the firm. The Finance Business Partner will support the Business Partner organization in meeting the financial demands and needs of their designated business. The role requires deep expertise of firm financials, systems and processes. Strong organization, communication and power point skills are also a must.
This role will support the following Deloitte groups: Risk and Regulatory Affairs, Office of General Counsel, Strategy/Innovation/Transformation, US Global, Management Offices, Policy and Government Relations, CBO (Cross-Business Offerings).
Emphasis will be on driving effective P&L management while providing transparency of expected performance during the forecasting as well as planning processes. Additional focus is on supporting the channel on executing their strategic operational objectives.
What You ll Do
In providing finance-related services, you will partner with the business to ensure growth and to enable the business to meet its financial goals. Your specific responsibilities include:
Manage period and year-end financial close in SAP
Explain, present and analyze the financial performance of the business
Deliver timely financial analytics, reporting, and business counsel to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities
Ability to quickly dissect requests and provide analysis in an efficient manner
Coordinate and execute with Finance COE (Shared Service) for financial reporting and transactional activities
Support an efficient and effective planning and forecasting process in BPC (Business Planning and Consolidations) system that produces accurate, achievable plans and forecasts that align with business s strategic objectives
Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and future financial performance to Business leadership
Support the business leader to successfully implement the business strategy
Support initiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives
Continuously improve BP&A s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by leading internal change initiatives as part of the BP&A leadership team
Participate in team and finance meetings/ communications
Participate in training and development
