Work You ll Do
Provide technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET web applications. Create project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices. Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensure that architecture standards are followed. Apply research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations; provide expert knowledge of mobile application architecture to business and technology teams. Facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices. Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes. Work with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, and strategies to anticipate future business and technology needs. Review and approve third party integration solution architecture. Communicate implications of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements to business and IT leadership. Define and validate technical requirements and establish traceability between requirements and application architecture and design. Develop project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables and work with Performance Engineering and Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining the deployment architecture and providing guidance on mobile application development.
Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Three years of experience designing, analyzing, developing and delivering web, desktop and mobile based systems.
Experience must include three years of:
Interfacing with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business and technology needs;
Performing project planning, including determining project objectives, scope, approach, estimates, deliverables, initial product architectures design and verification;
Utilizing various source code control tools for code management, integrating various third-party controls with ASP.NET, and utilizing ADO.NET to access data;
Designing database schema, including for various versions of Microsoft SQL Server and leading development teams during analysis, design reviews, development, code reviews, testing, and performance engineering processes;
Working with Agile methodology using TFS to perform ALM process, including work, code, and backlog maintenance; and
Designing and implementing API REST services in .NET 4.5 to accommodate web portal and IPAD integration.
