Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.
Work You ll Do
Work closely with teams to ensure standard processes are followed based on project specifications.
Successful candidate will have a data analytic mind set, and ability to find issues or anomalies in large sets of data via queries and sampling
Use and critical thinking to identify and develop process improvement opportunities
Assisting with managing the Quality Governance processes and ensure standard templates and checklist adhere to appropriate governance review/approval
Responsible for the development and overall quality of team deliverables; establish and execute test plans
Create processes to maintain security and privacy of electronically stored information (ESI)
Develop complex SQL queries as needed to research and resolve data issues
Conduct data investigations and audits to detect errors
Create and review procedures to efficiently manage quality of work consistently while using best practices
Perform root cause analysis to address recurring incidents
Monitor, review, and analyze daily data rejections to determine where controls can be applied Present and communicate observations and recommendations to the business
Develop and deliver quality reports to leadership teams
In 2008, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP (DTBA) opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. DTBA's E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of DTBA' s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join DTBA's Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science preferred, or a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experience.
3 years of prior experience of supporting quality function for a service/product organization.
2 years of experience analyzing business problems, transactional data, or unstructured data.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills to perform complex queries against large datasets, identify data anomalies, gaps and trends, and perform root cause analysis.
Develop periodic reports based on risk control assessment; summarize testing results and observations to the business leadership team and other key stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex problems, think creatively, communicate recommendations, influence change, incorporate best practices, and be able to drive process and structure to an extremely dynamic environment.
Familiar with concepts and techniques of forecasting, sampling, statistical analysis, risk assessments.
Thorough knowledge and implementation experience of industry compliance standards and regulations; having exposure to IT service management standards such as ITIL/CMMI (Service)/ISO 20000.
Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus.
Experience in handling multiple concurrent complex activities within a fast paced, highly technical changing environment.
Ability to identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner.
Ability to quickly learn customized proprietary software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal team and clients.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, nimbleness and well organized, self-directed and a team player.
Experience with working and providing hand-offs with an offshore team.
