Deloitte e-Discovery Quality Assurance, Senior Consultant in Hermitage, Tennessee

Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.

Work You ll Do

  • Work closely with Project Management and operational teams to ensure standard processes are followed based on project specificationsSuccessful candidate will have a data analytic mind set, and ability to find issues or anomalies in sets of data via queries and sampling

  • Responsible for overall quality of team deliverables; establish and execute QA plans

  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation

  • Create processes to maintain security and privacy of electronically stored information (ESI)

  • Create complex SQL, Boolean or other queries as needed to research and resolve data issues

  • Conduct data investigations and audits to detect errors

  • Create and review procedures to efficiently manage quality of work consistent with best practices

  • Perform root cause analysis address recurring incidents

  • Monitor, review, and analyze daily QC rejections to determine where controls can be applied and identify development areas

  • Present and communicate observations and recommendations to the business

  • Develop and provide quality reports to leadership teams

The Team

In 2008, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP (DTBA) opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. DTBA's E-Discovery SolutionsCenter("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of DTBA' s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join DTBA's Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.

The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.


  • Bachelor s degree preferredor commensurate work experience

  • Law firm or litigation experience preferred; must understand entire discovery process from intake to client productions

  • 3 years experience in the litigation support or e-discovery industries

  • Advanced SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel skills

  • Experience with traditional search technologies and tools, such as dtSearch

  • Experience with traditional litigation support tools and load files (Concordance, IPRO suite, Summation)

  • Intermediate knowledge of several ESI data hosting processing platforms preferred (e.g. Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell, eCapture etc.) Familiar with concepts and techniques of sampling, statistical analysis, risk assessments

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task, to set and meet priorities, and to plan work to meet deadlines

  • Experience in fast-paced production environments working under deadlines

  • Experience supervising and training personnel; ability to give feedback on needed improvements in a constructive manner

  • Must have flexible work hours to readily support a 24 x 7 business operation including weekend and holidays
