You'll be involved in developing data analysis plans, innovative analytics strategies, and designing and implementing a variety of solutions that could potentially help clients address challenging business issues.

Work you'll do

As an Deloitte Technology-US intern, you will work directly with internal clients, building a foundation as a trusted ITS specialist and advisor. You will collaborate daily as part of high-performing teams, developing solutions to complex technology issues through research, use of cutting-edge technology, and consultation with other team members. You could commonly work with multiple clients at the same time, providing you exposure to a variety of businesses and a stronger understanding of information technology services.

The team

As a Deloitte Technology-US professional, you'll have the opportunity to work in one of four Service Lines: Deloitte Applications Studios (DAS), Technology and Infrastructure (T&I), Cyber Security, or Technology Management Operations (TMO). Qualifications

Required:

  • Pursuing an Undergraduate degree in the following majors with relevant analytics or data management focused coursework desired:

  • Technology: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics

  • Business: Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics

  • Math/Engineering: Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Actuarial

  • Travel up to 10% may be required, depending on role

  • Ability to travel into the assigned office as required between (10% - 100%)

  • Strong communication, team building, teaming and presentation experience

  • Ability to build relationships across teams, levels, geographies, etc.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage and deliver multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to attend all in person core programming sessions (Spring, June, July)

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

    • Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred)

This start date for this position will be in 2025

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with and managing data sets, including extraction and merges from source systems, transformation, and providing preliminary descriptive analytics

  • Additionally, we are seeking candidates with familiarity with a variety of, platforms, analytics tools and programming languages such as, but not limited to:

  • Azure and AWS

  • Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo Db,

  • Languages (e.g., SQL, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, C#, C++, VBA, VB.Net, ASP.Net, HTML, SAS, Phyton

  • Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Objects, Reporting Services)

  • Data Visualization Tools (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, Power Bi)
