Communications Manager, Audit & Assurance Development Center of Excellence

Deloitte Services LP has an opening for a Manager leading Audit & Assurance Learning Communications. The key performance objective of this position is the development and execution of a communication strategy and plan that supports the business strategy and drives awareness, understanding, and completion of development programs. Our communication strategy shares expectations with the reader, helps our leaders influence positive behaviors, drives change, and reinforces successes through coordinated and consistent messaging. We measure the impact and effectiveness of our communications and continually evolve to ensure we are delivering the right message at the right time to the right audience.

This role reports to the Senior Manager.

What you ll do:

As the Audit & Assurance Development COE Communications Manager, you will support the Audit & Assurance Learning team and drive the learner experience as you deliver innovative communications strategies that raise the visibility of learning and development in support of the Audit & Assurance learning and business strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications programs, including strategies, tactics, and deliverables

  • Own the drafting process from end-to-end, creating messages that are succinct, impactful, and drive behavior change

  • Partner with other communications, Talent, or Audit & Assurance leaders/professionals to ensure consistent integration of learning/development messaging into other business communications

  • Apply superb organizational skills to track deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely delivery through multiple rounds of stakeholder review and approval

  • Conduct a formal diagnostic of communications needs based on assessment of key factors (e.g. current / future state, stakeholder analysis, Learning programs and plans)

  • Continually measure and report upon the effectiveness of communications channels and activities and seek ways to improve and innovate

  • Lead and manage significant communications campaigns and projects in fast-paced, high-profile settings

  • Coach others with regard to best practices in communications
