Deloitte Manager - Office of the Chief Risk Officer in Helena, Montana

What you'll do

As part of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you'll work closely with the CRO's chief of staff in the following areas:

  • Coordinate Risk Leadership Meetings on a monthly basis, providing opportunity for exposure to leaders from the R&BP organization

  • Coordinate Operating Risk Committee (ORC) meetings eight times a year and Enabling Area ORC Meetings on a quarterly basis to discuss risk issues and emerging trends with FSS Lead Risk Partners and Enabling Area Risk Leaders

  • Tasks include scheduling, drafting agendas, engaging speakers, managing pre-read and presentation materials

  • Helping update Functional and Enabling Area Risk Dashboards as a part of the ORC and EA ORC governance process; aggregate top functional and enabling area risks into standardized risk dashboards, leveraging Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint

  • Help develop and refine the annual Top Risk Report that provides a holistic view of the top risks facing the US Firms by identifying common themes on an enterprise-wide basis and creating recommended areas of focus for the upcoming fiscal year

  • Build CRO presentations for internal and external audiences, potentially including R&BP updates to the US Board of Directors and the Global Risk Executive

  • Monitor and track notable risks (crisis, incident and watch list items) that are reported to the CEO, Board Risk & Regulatory Committee, and the US Board of Directors

  • Assist in the compilation of key risks impacting the US Firm/businesses and actions/mitigation strategies taken for the US Executive Committee

  • Develop ad hoc reports and presentations for the CRO, Deputy CRO and Crisis Management Leader

  • Participate in the development of one or more R&BP strategic initiatives

  • Assist with crisis response efforts on an as-needed basis

  • Respond to US Ask Risk mailbox inquiries and log all items in tracker

  • Manage International Telecommuting tracker for professionals approved to telecommute from India; update and send out daily

  • Coordinate multiple DTTL Certifications for the US Member Firm

  • Maintain meeting calendar and track cadence and agendas of CRO meetings

  • Maintain list of R&BP Strategic Initiatives and Organization/Leadership Chart

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related/professional services experience

  • Strong attention to detail and able to appropriately handle privileged and confidential information

  • Experience with communicating and interacting with senior leadership and developing strong executive level communications

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with workload and assignments

  • Willingness to contribute on time-sensitive, critical responsibilities

  • Solid organizational and time management skills

  • Commitment to learning; strong ability to get up to speed quickly in new areas

  • Professional presence

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
