As a Solution Integration Middleware Consultant, you will help clients set-up, manage, and operate their most complex projects, define requirements for technology solutions, and design and derive transformative approaches for technology systems.
Work you ll do
As a core team member, you will work within a project team, to create custom software solutions that help our clients solve problems, expand market share, improve operations, and grow their business. You won t work alone. You ll work alongside smart, dynamic colleagues.You ll engage in:
Being the integrator between the client and our Deloitte teams
Developing system requirements, designing the solution, coding, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.
Solution Integration Consultants are required to have:
2 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
1year of experience participating in large-scale, full-life cycle Service Oriented Architecture implementations (including cloud integration solution such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, iPaaS, preferred)
At least 2 years of experience in managing enterprise-wide requirements definitions and management methodologies.
2 years of experience participating in large Business Integration efforts and being a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live
At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Analysis methodologies
In addition, successful Consultants will have the following preferred background:
Strong software development methodology understanding, and experience assisting in the design, development or testing of a technology integration project
Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into services and operational requirements
Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration
Experience with Application Integration tools from IBM, Oracle, Webmethods,Apache Camel, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi
Experience or passion for implementing SOA solution using cloud environment such as on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
