Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Hartford, CT and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Transforming how clients deliver services to customers. Delivering large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partnering with clients to transform service delivery to those most in need. Assessing and diagnosing problems analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Validating solutions with subject matter experts. Understanding the key components and tracking progress against work plan and identifying potential issues while staying focused on identified priorities. Defining clear business objectives and desired outcomes to guide own work and the work of others. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Coordinating with client functional leads and project managers to assess system issues, schedule releases and determine project scopes. Leading calls with clients to present identified populations of affected customers, root cause analysis results, mitigation plans through use of actions and system fixes, and making decisions on progression of deployments to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments using SQL, Selenium and Excel functionalities, including Pivot Tables and Gant charts. Simulating trends of production issues, logging and instituting new processes to search existing issues and linking known issues together to fix functionalities using HP Quality Center. Overseeing all pre-deployment Quality Assurance activities, including mapping of fields from legacy data in existing systems to new applications to ensure transfer of all data, ensuring accuracy of converted data based on inputs of legacy system and readability in new system. Leading execution plans for month-end batch jobs affecting all functionalities, triaging high severity issues resulting from batch jobs, and working with development teams to resolve issues and informing client counterparts about issues and resolution strategies. Authoring all testing deliverables that detail System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, results and analyses. Modeling data to analyze trends of large amounts of data, construct models to forecast expectations, predict patterns and present the data for actionable decisions. Documenting technical and system requirements and presenting project plans with actionable information based on meaningful results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering (any), Information Technology, CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Coordinating with client functional leads and project managers to assess system issues, schedule releases and determine project scopes;

  • Leading calls with clients to present identified populations of affected customers, root cause analysis results, mitigation plans through use of actions and system fixes, and making decisions on progression of deployments to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments using SQL, Selenium and Excel functionalities, including Pivot Tables and Gant charts;
