Work you'll do
As a Personal Consultation Manager for the Onboarding Reporting team, you use your interpersonal, analytical, research, investigative, and organizational skills to:
Manage a team of ICN Staff members focused on onboarding candidates joining Deloitte as a Partner, Principal or Managing Director (PPMD).
Review financial and other information submitted via the Deloitte Independence Review (DIR) system by PPMD candidates and, after they join, ensure complete and accurate reporting of such in the appropriate monitoring system(s).
Review analyses and conclusions regarding personal financial interests that must be reported and monitored, as well as tax returns that are reconciled by the ICN Onboarding Reporting team members to confirm compliance with Deloitte's personal financial interest reporting requirements.
Lead independence calls with the PPMD candidates to review findings, gather additional information and advise them on their independence compliance requirements after joining Deloitte.
Work closely with the ICN Senior Manager and PPMD on further development of onboarding processes.
Lead internal team meetings including collaboration with internal stakeholders to track onboarding progress and developments.
Supervise the preparation of materials containing independence information for use at meetings and trainings.

Independence & Conflicts Network
The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) Personal Consultation team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.
Bachelors' degree (preferably in a business area).
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team.
Positive customer service attitude and dedication to quality, with a demonstrated attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, investigative, and organizational skills.
With team leader support, be able to work on multiple initiatives, report and communicate progress.
Ability to react positively to an environment where priorities and deadlines can quickly change.
Ability to operate independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic work environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
An understanding of independence requirements for professional auditing firms
Knowledge of financial instruments, such as equities, fixed income, brokerage accounts, etc.
A basic understanding of U.S. Federal individual tax returns.
