TALENT TEMPORARY WORKFORCE: One Model Implementation Leader (Manager)

This is a temporary salaried opportunity to join Deloitte Services LP for a short-term assignment. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our One Model Implementation Leader role between October 2024 and April 2025 for our Digital & Analytics team.

The Team

The One Model team is a part of the Digital & Analytics (D&A) team in Deloitte's Talent organization. The D&A teams collaborate across Talent and the businesses to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change. The One Model team democratizes workforce data via a self-service, visualization, and data platform, in support of the firm-wide priority to create a data fluent workforce to transform how we work . Data democratization is the ongoing process of enabling professionals in Talent and the Businesses, irrespective of their technical know-how, to work with data comfortably, to feel confident talking about it, and as a result, make data-informed workforce decisions and build the talent experience powered by data. The One Model team are data and reporting advisors; develop, maintain, and optimize data assets (storyboards); and provide support and training to increase the data fluency of talent data consumers.

One Model provides Business and Talent professionals with on-demand access to common, accurate talent metrics and insights from multiple sources to drive interactive and strategic conversations that result in timely data-driven decisions. The One Model project team is comprised of multiple workstreams including an Implementation team (Business Systems Analysts, Development, Testing, Security) and Product team (Product Management, Support, Data and Metrics, and Data Integration). This role leads the Implementation team while gaining exposure to Product. Implementation work includes gathering requirements, designing/building storyboards, implementing security accounts, and testing/delivering releases and enhancements.

Work you'll do

In this role you will:

  • Report to the One Model Senior Manager and partner closely with the One Model Product Owner

  • Oversee multiple workstreams of functional and technical resources building and enhancing self-service reporting on workforce data for the Deloitte US firm in One Model

  • Review deliverables and provide sign-off

  • Ensure business requirements are aligned with client expectations and in line with overall One Model goals

  • Set scope for enhancement releases based on prioritization of requests and capacity of the workstreams

  • Ensure security personas are designed based on approved access roles

  • Review testing approach and provide sign-off on testing results

  • Approve and coordinate deployment of hotfixes

  • Liaise and manage the relationships with a large group of stakeholders consuming talent data and insights for operational activities to deliver Talent services and to make business decisions about Deloitte's workforce

  • Facilitate the relationship with Talent clients and leadership to provide clear line of sight for solution development and address interdependencies

  • Address ongoing concerns and opportunities with key stakeholder groups - Change Champion Network of super users and other reporting teams

  • Provide One Model Product Manager with input for prioritization of the One Model roadmap

  • Support the One Model Senior Manager to review Change Requests to Talent technology and processes for One Model impacts, level of effort estimates, and prioritization against other One Model initiatives

  • Review project risks and mitigation efforts before elevation to One Model Senior Manager and D&A leadership

  • Monitor data governance reviews (requests for expanded data access for new/existing One Model users) and supporting ongoing prioritization of security/governance decisions and how it impacts the access to data for other OM users

    The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate with a broad set of clients clearly and concisely from across the business, spanning multiple levels

  • Ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact

  • Proven experience leading functional and technical global teams in a virtual environment

  • Collaborative working style to successfully partner across workstreams with an interest and passion for talent data

  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment with minimal oversight and an agile mindset

  • Strong project management experience

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, including demonstrated implementation experience in cloud-based technology and reporting tools

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel mandatory)

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300 to $155,400.
