Pursuit Lead Specialist-Consulting

Work you'll do

As a Pursuit Lead Specialist in Consulting, you'll use your skills to:

  • Provide project management expertise to jump start pursuits and increase overall efficiency by assisting with complex proposal and orals presentation efforts

  • Appropriately organize and drive pursuit efficiency by managing the overall process for the client and internal teams according to the schedule to confirm timely completion of activities

  • Assess activity effort and draft overall project schedules and other planning tools

  • Help establish clear and realistic objectives, and assist with task assignment

  • Leverage existing Pursuit Management best practices and project management tools, and interact with other team members to gather research and competitive intelligence

  • Assist with RFP response template creation in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Gather standardized responses that may require slight customization

  • Assist with development and light edit for grammar/clarity of proposal content

  • Review content for accuracy, adherence to brand and legal compliance and editorial guidelines, and consistency in message and style

  • Help adopt resulting best practices

  • This role will support Deloitte's Consulting Service Line


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, humanities, or related disciplines, with advanced degree preferred

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in marketing, pre-sales, and/or bid management with a concentration in project management for complex, multi-dimensional projects

  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work with people at all levels

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 20-40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570- $144,695

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
