Work you'll do
Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
Develops, evaluates and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides Senior Data Specialist with detailed notice of deficiencies.
Performs advanced tasks related to exporting data from contractor and DOJ databases, including: identifying data for export, confirming redactions and other markups, ensuring that exports comply with applicable ESI specifications, and quality check of exported data.

Discovery is constantly evolving and changing as data volumes and sources continue to grow exponentially. We aim to help our clients solve their most pressing data management challenges by bringing key stakeholders together and helping them to navigate challenges such as cloud migration, implications of new technologies, evolving data sources, and pressure due to time constraints or regulatory requirements. Our practice has established itself as a leader in delivering the full spectrum of Discovery services to government agencies. Our teams apply eDiscovery leading practices and leverage analytics technology, as well as traditional legal research and writing, to assist government attorneys and agency staff through the litigation or information request process.
2 + years experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
Knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
Experience in Government's IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.
Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.
Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform.
Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued.
Travel up to 20% (While 20 % travel may be requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Certifications in any of the following are preferred: Security+, RCA (Relativity Certified Administrator), AWS Cloud Practitioner (or higher), A++, Network++, or Security++
