Program Management Senior Consultant - Assets and Hybrid Business Ventures

The Assets & Hybrid Business Ventures offering was established to surface, build, incubate, scale, and maintain new, world-class technology-based assets focused on improving the customer experience. Among our highest-priority assets is our Digital Contact Center (DCC), which integrates industry-leading capabilities through cutting-edge technology to transform our clients' abilities in customer support and service. By adopting DCC, our clients will be able to enhance their customer experience while simultaneously increasing visibility to their support organization and reducing investment and ongoing costs. This is just one example of the assets that our team is bringing to market to help us provide even faster time to value and reduced risk throughout our clients' transformation journeys.

Work You'll Do:

The Program Management Senior Consultant in our Assets and Hybrid Business Ventures team will be responsible for supporting the program management office across a range of project and product management activities. You will bring strong and in-depth functional and project management solutions to the team with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality. You will have the technical foundation and knowledge to work with a core group of technology and business professionals. A successful candidate will have experience supporting the effective operations and management of cross-functional teams. You will also:

  • Work closely with the product management team to support the continued evolution and improvement of our assets.

  • Support resource management, including the identification and onboarding of new team resources.

  • Support product and asset teams in the development and distribution of status reports to key stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain communication with key project stakeholders and decision makers.

  • Monitor progress of the project, identify and quantify variances, and perform required corrective actions.

  • Identify high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project.

  • Achieve project goals within designated project constraints.

What You'll Bring to the Table

Qualifications

Required:

  • A solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models as well as strong knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles.

  • 5+ years of relevant project management, consulting, or industry experience.

  • 3+ years planning and managing project initiatives in a Project Management Office or similar team environment.

  • A proven track record of successfully working on complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-functional teams.

  • The ability to work independently or within small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects.

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

  • Proactive, detail oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task with strong organizational skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, and experience with standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Experience in project work planning, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Experience working with and managing onshore, offshore, and remote teams.

  • Knowledge of basic project and program management principles, as exhibited by a PMP certification.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.)

  • An independent self-starter, and excellent team player in a demanding and dynamic environment.
