Work you'll do
In your role, you will be responsible for envisioning and developing new digital products. You will execute day-to-day product development activities across design, development, stakeholder communication, technology vendor management and delivery. Act as the technical visionary and leader for ongoing and future software development efforts.
Subject matter expert who provides technical direction and end to end delivery of projects to address business needs
Analyzes emerging technologies and influences direction of project solutions
Possesses in-depth knowledge and enforces standards, procedures, and methodologies for the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Coordinates application development activities and directs development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices
Participates in quality improvement activities for the development organization
Ensures project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and adhere to the application standards
Manage clients, complex projects, drive business requirement gathering, manage scope and client expectations
Work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications
Provide inputs to create Agile user stories based on business requirements
Provide technical support during production outages

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and applications development team responsible for delivering leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. Their broad portfolio includes web and mobile productivity tools which empower our people to log expenses, enter timesheets, book travel and more, anywhere, anytime. DAS enables our client service professionals through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics, and innovative custom development.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience or 5 years with an advanced degree in application development, support experience in designing software solutions for business use cases, and knowledge of software development life cycle, project management & product management.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
Proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies like Agile, SAFe, Microsoft technical stack, Office 365 and architecture and software design for enterprise solutions using UML, 4+1, etc., Integration experience with firm systems like SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc., Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure like Azure AD, etc.,

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
1 to 2 years of experience with SAP HR; SuccessFactors/CPI experience a PLUS
Analyzes emerging technologies, working with architecture teams to recommend technology decisions and direction of project solutions.
Works closely with product team members to fully understand business requirements and create clear functional specifications outlining the client requirements.
Monitors progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks timely. Leads the delivery, implementation, and improvement of all applicable channel processes, methodologies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Provides on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality assurance and issue resolution.
Involved in helping development team members.
Prior experience in web-based mobile technologies like Microsoft .Net, ASP.NET Web API and complementary business layer and front-end technologies like AngularJs, ReactJs, NodeJS, Xamarin etc.
Prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Oracle etc.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $95,070 to $195,215.
