Work you ll do

As an Email Delivery Engineer, you re an expert in guiding our clients in how to build and execute high-volume email campaigns that maximize email inbox deliver-ability.

Day to day, you ll be responsible for the creation and delivery of email solutions for our clients, working closely with our client service teams to ensure that campaigns are properly developed and optimized to Deloitte Digital s standards. This individual will collaborate with other Email Delivery team members in order to achieve team objectives.

This includes the following responsibilities:

Provide deliver-ability support and best practice education, as needed, to our clients and internally to our client facing teams

Consult with clients and provide guidance on delivery topics including email authentication, abuse complaints, send strategy, segmentation, IP allocation, warm-up, reputation monitoring and integration.

Monitor client performance using internal metrics and 3rd-party delivery tools

Compile delivery data into account assessments including Email Delivery Reports (EDR) and ROI statistics

Alert clients to potential problems and provide strategies to manage reputation

Investigate and address email delivery problems with specific ISPs and mailbox providers

Review client configuration and practices and make suggestions on how to improve delivery through changes in infrastructure, server optimization, and policies

In doing so, we transform our clients marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations. Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.

We serve our clients through the following types of work:

Cross-channel customer engagement strategy, design and development

(web, mobile, social, physical)

eCommerce strategy, implementation and operations

Marketing Content and digital asset management solutions

Marketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutions

Marketing analytics implementation and operations

Advertising campaign ideation, development and execution

Acquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development and execution

Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results



4-5 years of relevant experience in large scale email operations (sender, ESP, or receiver)

Minimum 2 years experience in a client consultative role

High technical aptitude

Motivated, goal-oriented and persistent

Intermediate Excel skills, MS SQL Server, SSRS, or other reporting tools

A passion for customers and problem solving

High level of initiative

Experience using 3rd-party delivery tools (ReturnPath, eDataSource, Litmus, Email On-Acid)
