Work you'll do
Provide standards based subject matter expertise to the team specifically in HL7 standards (HL7 v2, CDA, FHIR)
Conduct message content reviews during testing and validation
Understand HL7 implementation guides and explain requirements to implementation teams
Lead client working group meetings for standards implementation in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
Develop organizational processes, draft new standard operating procedure (SOPs)
Document weekly progress of the project via status reports and call logs, and facilitate tracking of critical risk and issues

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.* Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role7+ years experience in analyzing and validating data used in public health reporting, such as: Electronic Lab Report (ELR) in HL7 v.2.5.1 format, electronic case reporting (eCR) in HL7 eICR 1.1, Vaccine and Immunization information in HL7 v.2.5.1 or HL7 FHIR format, cancer and syndromic surveillance information, etc.7+ years experience of practical use of common technical HIT tools and interface engines such as Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf*7+ years experience in public health, Health IT and HL7 standards (HL7 v2, CDA, FHIR)
Preferred:
- Experience with HL7 Public Health Workgroup and HL7 Working group meetings* Background in communications, knowledge management tools, Customer Relationship Management tools and continuous business process improvement* Prior experience with EHR vendor or product teams (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, etc), Syndromic Surveillance, HIEs, eHealth Exchange, Direct Trust, Carequality, CommonWell* Process and identify potential improvements and efficiencies* Experience producing video content of the onboarding process to support and streamline project needs
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000-$208,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
