As part of ConvergePROSPERITY, the InsurCloud team is building next generation digital products for our property and casualty insurance clients that will enable them to drive growth, increase profitability, and enhance their policyholders' experiences.
Work You'll Do
As a Product Analyst on the InsurCloud team, you will play a key role in supporting identification, definition, development, and launch of the feature set for the InsurCloud suite of products.
Product Management:
Work closely with the Integrated Product Team Lead and Product Manager to identify product features enhancements based on client needs and industry trends
Define marketplace needs as epics, features, and stories and support the IPTL and PM in prioritizing and sequencing requirements
Support development and maintenance of the InsurCloud product roadmap detailing features and releases of InsurCloud capabilities
Take a high-level idea or requirement and engage with various stakeholders to scope out the idea (including detailed requirements, mockups, prototypes, etc.) to a level of detail needed for engineering teams to go through development
Work with the IPT Lead, Product Analysts, and the product and engineering teams on detailed specifications and build activities
Support the IPT Lead and product marketing/delivery teams on product launch and customer adoption activities
Delivery Support:
Support teams consisting of client and Deloitte resources (Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Architects) in the implementation of InsurCloud products
Client Facilitation:
Work with clients to help identify and design high value InsurCloud features supporting key insurance use cases including defining personas, user journeys, and features at the direction of project managers and leadership
Executive Communication:
Prepare deliverables, present findings and recommendations to client and/or firm leadership
Client Relationship Development:
Establish relationships with key client end users to help drive further adoption of the InsurCloud product throughout and at all levels of their organization
Business Development:
Assist with sales meetings, conferences, and RFI/RFP responses by facilitating development of sales material collateral and providing product and implementation expertise
Qualifications:
Required
A BA/BS degree from a top institution in computer science, information systems, risk management, or other relevant focus areas
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Functional IT resource for a property and casualty insurer or related organization (e.g. systems integrator, packaged software vendor)
Experience with large-scale insurance core system transformation programs for property and casualty insurers with client projects extending months or years
Experience driving program discovery requirements gathering workshops
Experience with coordinating internal and external stakeholders during the planning, management and delivery of technology projects
The ability to develop and foster strong working relationships with internal and external clients in a virtual setting
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong self and audience awareness when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred:
2+ years' experience in developing and deploying applications in the property and casualty insurance space
Experience coordinating with globally distributed teams
SAFe, PMP, PMI, or Agile certifications
Hands-on experience defining personas, user journeys, and product features
Experience implementing Guidewire InsuranceSuite or insurance core systems solutions
A master's degree in business administration, risk management, information systems, or a related field
• The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000-$155,000.
o You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
