If so, Deloitte is currently seeking candidates for a Contracts & Compliance Senior Consultant role to support all contracting and compliance efforts for Deloitte's resell and hybrid solutions team.

The Team

This role supports the Contracts & Compliance ("C&C") team, which sits as a part of Deloitte's Green Dot Resell team. The Senior Consultant will work closely with a broad spectrum of product vendors and Deloitte Resell and C&C teammates, to ensure that Deloitte can successfully offer technology to our clients, while adhering to all compliance requirements.

Work you will do

The individual in this position must work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and almost exclusively remote work environment, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform vendor/client quote reviews and resell-related/managed service-related document reviews in support of active deals.

  • Coordinate activities with other C&C or Resell team members, develop best practices, and collectively develop a base of knowledge used to consistently address issues that arise.

  • Interact frequently with vendor contracting teams and sales teams, and Deloitte internal cross-functional peer groups.

  • Facilitate status updates, communications, and overall coordination to the C&C team, broader Resell team, other Deloitte stakeholders, and/or to vendors or clients, including, but not limited to, document repository ownership, active pipeline tracking, facilitation of calls/meetings.

  • Perform detailed compliance and due diligence research in support of establishing new vendor/client relationships and/or applicable document preparation.

  • Handle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion.

  • Maintain effective electronic filing systems for the management of contracts and compliance related documents, including confidential files.

  • Ensure the Firm's adherence to AICPA and SEC Auditor Independence and Compliance Requirements with vendors/clients where Deloitte intends to enter into marketplace business relationships.

  • Provide guidance and training to personnel regarding independence compliance policies, process and tools to establish marketplace business relationships, and application to policy related to independence.

  • Other administrative and project-management based tasks as needed.

    The ideal candidate will develop knowledge of Firm Independence, Ethics and Compliance policies. This position will require minimal travel.

The team

Deloitte U.S.'s Resell team focuses on reselling of software, hardware, cloud services to our existing and new client base. The Resell team does this by collaborating with Deloitte Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and Sales Executives across Consulting along with Deloitte's Offices of General Counsel, Risk, Tax, Anti-Corruption and Trade Compliance to identify client engagements where there is a potential to bundle hardware and software sales with implementation and support services and maintenance.



  • At least 3+ years of project management experience

  • At least 1-2+ years of relevant professional experience in contract management, and/or general corporate compliance

  • Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree


  • Able to demonstrate skills in database management, contract administration, review procedures and best practices.

  • Superior internet research skills

  • Experience creating, reviewing, and updating process documents

  • Prior public accounting or consulting services experience is preferred

  • Prior experience with independence pronouncements, standards and rules for professional audit firms a plus

  • Prior managed-service agreement or software licensing agreement related experience a plus

  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and professional skepticism

  • Performing legal research on the existing and prospective technology vendors using various search engines

  • Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks with minimal supervision

  • Ability to anticipate problems and act accordingly

  • Experience working in a dynamic working environment where priorities can quickly change

  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making when necessary

  • Ability to manage and develop relationships with key business partners

  • Strong interpersonal and both verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain composure and flexibility

  • High degree of professionalism and discretion with the ability to handle high-level confidential data/information

  • Project planning and project management skills and ability to multi-task effectively

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,000-$171,000.

    o You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
