Work you ll do
The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for researching and developing information security controls and ensuring technology initiatives are implemented to make our client s cloud environments more secure. The Cloud Security Engineer is accountable for securing enterprise information by implementing and evaluating network and application security requirements and testing security controls and procedures. The role of the Cloud Security Engineer is to be customer facing and to play an active role in transforming our client s security through implementing standards and technologies in the cloud.
Work closely with enterprise architects and engineers to identify and mitigate risks, perform security reviews, implement security practices
Identify appropriate technology/data sources and drive the collection of data necessary to effectively evaluate threats.
Communicate threat intelligence and vulnerability management options
Analyzing threats and current security controls to identify gaps in current defensive posture
Meet with clients and support security-related efforts
The ideal candidate must have a foundation across cloud services and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts.
A history of delivering secure architectures in a federal environment
Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, and automated build and configuration tools such as Jenkins and terraform
Strong knowledge of industry trends in security technology
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner and collaborate with both engineers and business users on architecture vision and security model

o Bachelor s degree
o Possess or ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o 5 years experience in an information system security role
o Cloud Solution Architect experience
o Experience with commercial cloud services (e.g AWS) tools and environment
o Knowledge in Splunk dashboard configuration for alerting and analytics
o A&A experience with commercial IaaS services
o Experience with developing configuration policy and rulesets for services provided by commercial IaaS providers, including AWS
o Experience leveraging COTS products or cloud service provider services to build and manage automation capabilities for automated remediation of misconfigurations, patches, and vulnerability management
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISA)
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Must be willing to live and work in the Orlando, FL, or Gilbert, AZ or Mechanicsburg, PA
