Work you'll do
The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real- time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
You will work individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
Resolve software problem reports and utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 7 years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience or 18 years of SWE experience with similar software processes may be substituted for degree
4 or more years of experience with Peoplesoft
Demonstrated experience and knowledge with the Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC) to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and use of COTS/GOTS for development
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Experience leading or managing one or more software development teams and projects
Demonstrated proficiency with designing or implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints;
Experienced performing quality control on team products
Ability to work across business units and with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
