Deloitte Salesforce Administrator - Chantilly, VA in Falls Church, Virginia

Are you passionate about customer strategy, digital design, marketing, and platform development? We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to join our team. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Salesforce platform to ensure optimal performance, user adoption, and alignment with our business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs, configure the system, and provide ongoing support and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, data integrity, and security.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and configure Salesforce to meet business needs.

  • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and process builder flows.

  • Handle data management tasks, including data imports, data cleansing, and de-duplication.

  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and user experience.

  • Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions.

  • Conduct regular training sessions and create user documentation to promote user adoption and ensure effective utilization of Salesforce features.

  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their applicability to our organization and coordinating the implementation of relevant updates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Prior experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a deep understanding of Salesforce platform administration and configuration

  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201 or higher) is required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required for this role

  • Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA

Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative features (such as workflows, process builder, and validation rules)

  • Experience with data management and data quality techniques within Salesforce

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and system integrity

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and familiarity with Apex and Visualforce is a plus

  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
